The X-Series is an open-frame reel engineered for lightweight dependability without sacrificing strength or spool protection. Built around Nautilus’ XCT drag system, it uses a carbon fiber and Teflon® sealed drag that stays smooth and consistent across a wide range of conditions. An oversized, textured drag knob makes quick adjustments easy—even with wet, cold, or slimy hands.

The Giga Arbor spool is designed for fast line pickup and quicker backing drying, while the dual palming rim gives you added control when you want to manually manage pressure. The rear palming rim also helps protect the spool from bending under impact—smart insurance for a reel that’s meant to be fished hard.
