X-15 Wide Gape X-Point

The Daiichi X‑15 Wide Gape X‑Point was originally designed as a bass hook for soft plastic Texas rigs but has found a home at the fly-tying bench. Its wide gape and short straight shank make it ideal for baitfish imitations and fly patterns that mimic conventional bass lures. When dressed properly, the hook point often sits hidden within the materials, giving the fly a natural weed guard effect.
