The Dr. Slick Typhoon is a salt-ready, do-it-all plier built for real fishing tasks—cutting, gripping, and handling gear without babying your tools. It’s designed with HR 70+ anvil tungsten carbide side cutters that slice mono and absolutely smoke modern braid and synthetics, plus it’ll handle wire up to 60 lb. The jaws are heat-treated SUS420 J2 coated stainless (HR 52) for strength and longevity, and the 6061-T6 anodized aluminum frame keeps it light, tough, and corrosion resistant.

Non-slip rubber grips and a self-opening spring make it comfortable for all-day use, and it comes fully kitted with a holster, lanyard, and spare parts.
