Switchback 2.0 Wading System

The Fishpond Switchback 2.0 Wading System is built for anglers who want a clean waist-belt setup that actually works while you’re in the water. A thermoformed foam belt with an integrated net slot anchors the system, while the 2L pack rides on a “rail” so you can slide it from back to front and back again without spinning the whole belt around. 

Up front, the pack gives you a main zippered compartment with a removable divider and two interior pockets, plus a stretch front pocket with its own internal organization—plenty of room for a day’s worth of fly boxes and small gear. The shoulder strap pad adds Hypalon tool attachment points and a Velcro patch for a fly dock or drying flies, and the ambidextrous layout lets you rig it right- or left-handed.

Built from 420D recycled Cyclepond nylon, the Switchback 2.0 fits waist sizes from 33" to 64" and is covered in Hypalon tabs and TPU-coated straps so you can add water bottle holders, rod holders, tippet, floatant, and other accessories without creating a tangled mess. It’s a tidy, modular wading system that plays well on everything from quick local sessions to full days of hiking and wading.
