The Dr. Slick Squall is the “do-everything” plier in their lineup—built to handle salt, tough lines, and real fishing abuse without feeling bulky. It’s equipped with HR 70+ anvil tungsten carbide side cutters that slice mono and absolutely crush modern braid and synthetics, plus it can handle wire up to 60 lb.

The jaws are heat-treated SUS420 J2 coated stainless (HR 52) for strength, and the 6061-T6 anodized aluminum frame is made to stand up to saltwater. Add non-slip rubber grips and a self-opening spring, and you’ve got a plier you’ll actually want in-hand all day.
