The SA250 Shrimp is a purpose-built saltwater hook designed for realistic shrimp patterns, but it’s also one of those “shrimp” hooks that ends up doing a lot more. Carried over from the Nordic Salt NS150 concept, Ahrex tweaked the bend and opened the gap slightly to improve hookups—especially on flats species like bonefish—and it also shines for bend-back and “shallow water Clouser” style designs.

The SA250 features Ahrex’s A-Steel finish for saltwater durability, and it’s chemically sharpened with a small barb for clean penetration. It’s a super versatile shape when you want a shrimp fly to ride correctly and hook consistently.
