Beaver Dubbing Fur Piece

Nature’s Spirit Beaver Dubbing Fur Piece

Nature’s Spirit Beaver Dubbing Fur Piece provides natural fur on the hide for preparing your own dubbing and custom blends. Beaver’s soft, fine underfur is well suited to small dry flies, creating slender, smoothly tapered bodies without excessive bulk.

Pull or trim the fur from the hide, remove the longer guard hairs, and dub the underfur directly onto your thread. Use it alone or blend it with other natural and synthetic fibers to adjust texture and color.

• Fine, soft underfur: Ideal for small dry flies and delicate bodies.
• Fur on the hide: Prepare only what you need at the vise.
• Custom dubbing blends: Mix with other fibers to suit your patterns.
• Control the texture: Remove guard hairs for smooth bodies or retain some for a buggier finish.
