Wapsi Round Lead Wire is a soft, flexible fly tying wire used to add weight to nymphs, streamers, and other subsurface patterns. Wrap it directly on the hook shank to build weighted underbodies, improve sink rate, or add shape beneath dubbing, chenille, or thread wraps.

Because it is soft and easy to work with, lead wire is a bench staple for tying everything from small beadhead nymphs to larger stoneflies and streamers. Available in a full range of diameters so you can match the wire size to the hook and pattern.
