Fly Tying Nights

Join us for Fly Tying Nights at Patrick’s Fly Shop — a relaxed, hands-on evening of tying, learning, and connecting with the local fly fishing community. Whether you're new to the vise or have been spinning bugs for years, all skill levels are welcome.

We meet regularly in the shop to share patterns, experiment with materials, and swap stories. Some nights are free-form open tying, while others may feature a specific fly style, guest tier, or theme like saltwater baitfish, intruders, etc.

What to Expect:

  • Open tying environment — bring your own vise, tools, and materials -
  • We can provide limited loaner tools and vises
  • Occasional demos, pattern swaps, and tips from experienced tiers
  • Good conversation and a laid-back vibe

We’re now offering rotating selections of Holy Mountain Brewing beer for sale during tying nights — perfect for fueling creativity or just enjoying the evening with friends. Sorry this is no longer a BYOB event.
